This month we have participated in two great coworking events held in Asia; GCUC Singapore and GCUC Taiwan. Besides exhibiting with our out-of-the-box access control management system SALTO KS, Bryan B Leong, Business Unit Manager at SALTO Systems Singapore and David Rees, Business Unit Manager Asia were speakers at the events. Both shared knowledge on security for coworking spaces (cyber as well as physical) and the importance of human factor.
GCUC is short for the Global Coworking Unconference Conference, and is pronounced as “juicy” because that’s exactly what its subject matter is: a big, juicy wave of awesomeness that’s changing the face of work as we know it. GCUC is all about real estate, technology and the future of work.
For the past six years, GCUC has marched hand in hand with the coworking movement all over the world, exploring everything from location and design to branding and community building. Now that the concept is becoming a household name, they’re getting ahead of the game by defining the future of work. At the intersection of real estate and technology, GCUC breaks the old rules and that is one of the main reasons why we enjoy our partnership with them so much.
“We’re not interested in wasting your time; we’re interested in blowing your mind” – GCUC
GCUC events are very targeted, the who-is-who in the industry are usually invited to speak. Many of them who are not speaking at the conference are also attending like smaller brands, potential coworking space owners and operators.
“Knowing a brand by name is not good enough. People need to associate a face with the brand and experience the product that will secure their locations.”- Bryan Leong. GCUC provides this presence for us, this is why we’re very honored and proud to be a sponsor of the biggest coworking conference series in the world.
“SALTO KS is fortunate to be the market leader in EAC in the coworking vertical in Singapore and we intend to build on this to increase our market share here.” – Bryan B. Leong, BUM at SALTO Systems Asia
With more than 10,000 coworking spaces around the globe (and more on the way), the $1B coworking industry is here to stay, and it’s only getting better
